First up: DLD’s

NecromancyShe thinks there are nebulae
in the rough of my gutter bones,
some stargazing sanctuary
for lonely outcasts to lay their heads.
I am but a car crash,
spellbound
inside eyelids,
& red inked corrections
on crosshatched skin.
Made up of moans,
the clutching of bedsheets;
I am contemplating
ripping my ribs apart
& proving
I never had a heart at all.
But my moon shy love;
she is determined
to try & wake the dead. by

and forget for a moment that you aren't breathing.
you comb starlight;
these sunset broken tea leaves
bleed into the sky,
filling, filling, filling
in the cracks where the darkness is unfiltered
like black coffee,
too strong for your heart to take, tonight.
take another drink,
bleed another verse and remember what your shelves
are filled with, remember all those letters
that they wrote to you, postcards from the places
that in their sandpaper callousness
you have never been
(and bleed again,
just another nicked artery
hemorrhaging into facsimile
goblets -
drink
again
and tell me -

bear it

It's like trying to remember words
you haven’t written yet.
One thing is for certain:
